Melodica Music & Dance Academy has officially opened a new academy inside KidZania at Dubai Mall, bringing music education, creativity and performance opportunities into one of Dubai’s popular family destinations.
The new facility is designed to give children a hands-on introduction to music while adding a new educational experience to KidZania’s interactive city. KidZania Dubai already offers more than 40 real-world activities, and its official activities page now lists the Melodica academy among its education experiences.
Music Becomes Part of the KidZania Experience
Through the new partnership, children can participate in music-focused activities and begin developing skills in instruments such as piano, guitar and drums.
Melodica says its approach is aimed at encouraging creativity, confidence and a lasting interest in music, making the experience suitable for young learners who may be taking their first steps into musical education.
A New Creative Space for Children
The academy adds another creative dimension to KidZania’s miniature city, where children can already role-play professions ranging from doctors and pilots to chefs and journalists.
The addition of music education gives visitors an opportunity to move beyond role-play and participate directly in learning and performance-based activities. KidZania describes the Melodica Music and Dance Academy as a place where children can learn to play instruments including guitar and piano.
Melodica Expands Its UAE Presence
The Dubai Mall location is the latest addition to Melodica’s growing UAE network.
The academy, which was established in 2013, offers music and dance programmes across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Al Ain, with courses covering instruments such as piano, guitar, violin, drums, saxophone and vocals, as well as dance styles including ballet and hip-hop.
The KidZania opening follows Melodica’s broader expansion strategy, which has included new locations across Dubai.
Bringing Learning and Entertainment Together
The new academy reflects a wider trend in family entertainment, where educational activities are increasingly being combined with interactive experiences.
