ADNOC Distribution has announced strategic partnerships worth more than Dh60 million with Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) and Borouge during its participation at the prestigious “Make it in the Emirates” event, reinforcing its commitment to advancing local manufacturing and strengthening the UAE’s industrial ecosystem. The agreements are expected to enhance industrial performance, boost local production capabilities, and support long-term supply commitments across key sectors within the UAE economy.
As part of the partnerships, ADNOC Distribution will provide access to its extensive portfolio of 520 lubricant products designed to meet diverse industrial and operational requirements. The company’s lubricant manufacturing operations currently maintain an exceptional 96 percent In-Country Value (ICV) score, positioning it among the highest-ranking manufacturers in the UAE.
ADNOC Distribution’s lubricant products are manufactured locally and exported to more than 50 countries worldwide, reflecting the growing international presence of the company’s premium lubricant brand, ADNOC Voyager.
The collaboration with Emirates Global Aluminium aligns with the UAE’s Operation 300bn strategy, which focuses on accelerating industrial growth and economic diversification. Through the agreement, ADNOC Distribution will supply locally blended high-performance lubricants tailored to support EGA’s large-scale industrial operations, helping improve efficiency, reliability, and operational performance.
EGA continues to play a major role in supporting the national economy, spending nearly Dh8 billion annually on goods and services from UAE suppliers, with over 40 percent of its procurement directed toward local businesses.
Meanwhile, the partnership with Borouge will focus on advancing localized manufacturing of specialized products, including pharma-grade white oil. Initial production volumes exceeding 40 metric tonnes have already been developed and tested within the UAE, with plans underway to scale production further.
The collaboration also includes the development of sustainable and circular packaging solutions for the lubricants sector. ADNOC Distribution and Borouge are jointly developing advanced packaging utilizing Borouge’s high-density polyethylene (HDPE), incorporating lightweight designs and recycled materials to support environmental sustainability and supply chain resilience.
ADNOC Distribution highlighted that these initiatives align with its broader sustainability and decarbonization objectives while maintaining the high-performance standards expected by customers globally.
The company also noted that ADNOC Voyager recently became the first lubricant brand in the Middle East to achieve the latest API SQ / ILSAC GF-7 certification, reinforcing its reputation for innovation, quality, and technical excellence.
With these latest partnerships, ADNOC Distribution continues to strengthen its position as a globally competitive UAE-made lubricants leader while contributing to a more resilient, self-sufficient, and future-ready industrial economy.
