One of the most pivotal milestones in my journey was recognizing a critical gap in how the hospitality industry connects with talent. After years of organizing major events with the hospitality industry, it became clear that the process for sourcing and booking performers was inefficient and cumbersome. This realization led to the development of our B2B SaaS platform, designed specifically to facilitate talent booking for hospitality venues. Securing early partnerships with 17 major hotels in the UAE, even before the platform's official launch, was a key achievement. These milestones have not only validated the concept but also reinforced the strong relationships we’ve established with some of the leading hospitality groups in the region.
Another milestone was that we saw a 500% increase in our GAR from year 1 to year 2, which demonstrates strong market fit for our offering.

What motivated you to pursue your current business or initiative?
Through my lenses in both the entertainment and hospitality sectors, I identified a clear market gap. Hospitality venues frequently encountered challenges when sourcing talent, often relying on time-intensive, manual processes. These inefficiencies led to operational frustrations, and I recognized an opportunity to create a more efficient solution. The goal was to develop a platform specifically tailored to the needs of the hospitality industry, enabling venues to seamlessly find, book, and manage high-quality performers. By streamlining this process, we not only enhance the guest experience but also simplify talent management for venues. Ultimately, this initiative is about delivering high value to the hospitality sector, while simultaneously providing new opportunities for underrepresented talent.

One of the significant challenges we faced was convincing premium hospitality venues, which have operated in a very traditional way for years, to adopt a new digital platform. Changing established ways of operating is not easy, as we needed to demonstrate how our platform could remove operational hurdles and enhance efficiency. However, the strong relationships we had built within the industry, combined with early traction, helped us overcome this barrier, at least for our first few clients.
Another challenge was developing an AI-driven platform that could scale efficiently. By working closely with my CTO and the tech team, we developed innovative solutions that ensured the platform’s seamless functionality for both artists and venues.

The hospitality and entertainment sectors in the Gulf are positioned for remarkable growth. Major hospitality groups, such as Marriott, Hilton, and Accor, have announced plans to significantly expand their footprints in the region over the next few years. This surge in new hotel openings is being driven by the UAE’s ongoing success in attracting global tourists, business travelers, and hosting world-class events.

One of our most effective strategies has been the integration of AI to match artists with venues based on location, availability, and preferences. By leveraging data, we deliver personalized services that ensure both artists and venues derive maximum value from each booking. We’ve also implemented an ambassador referral program, which has allowed us to organically grow our artist community and expand our client base through trusted recommendations. These strategies have been instrumental in driving sustainable growth while maintaining high standards.

Moving to Dubai was one of the most impactful experiences of my life. The opportunities in this city are limitless for those with the right mindset and approach. While it is possible to achieve early success in the UAE, reputation plays a pivotal role in sustaining growth. Many ventures here rely heavily on warm introductions to key decision-makers, and building a strong network can make a significant impact. In my own experience, all of my clients have come through introductions—I’ve never had to actively pursue them, which highlights the importance of relationships in this market. Establishing trust, understanding the local business culture, and consistently delivering value are essential. Embracing innovation and technological advancements is equally important, as they are major drivers of growth. Lastly, investing in a strong, capable team is crucial for ensuring long-term success.
