The United Arab Emirates is reinforcing its long-term economic ambitions through closer collaboration with key investors, as Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi convened a strategic meeting with the UAE International Investors Council (IIC).

The high-level discussion focused on aligning national trade priorities with private sector insights, reflecting the country’s continued push to strengthen its position as a global hub for commerce and investment.

During the session, the Ministry of Foreign Trade outlined a series of forward-looking initiatives designed to support the UAE’s evolving trade framework. These measures aim to enhance economic resilience, expand international partnerships, and accelerate sustainable growth across sectors.

The meeting also served as a platform for open dialogue, allowing council members, comprising leading UAE investors and business figures—to share perspectives on current market dynamics and future opportunities. Their input is expected to play a critical role in shaping policies that respond effectively to global economic shifts.

Dr. Al Zeyoudi emphasized the importance of ongoing engagement with the investment community, noting that such collaboration ensures the country’s strategies remain both practical and forward-thinking.

He highlighted that the UAE International Investors Council provides a valuable channel for integrating private sector expertise into national decision-making, helping to refine initiatives that align with the country’s broader economic vision.

The discussions further underscored the UAE’s commitment to maintaining a competitive, innovation-driven economy. By incorporating investor feedback into policy development, the government aims to reinforce its global trade leadership while fostering long-term, sustainable expansion.

The engagement marks another step in the UAE’s broader effort to deepen public-private partnerships and position itself at the forefront of international trade and investment in an increasingly competitive global landscape.
