A budding Telugu film producer, Kedar Selagamasetty, was found dead in his apartment in Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) on Tuesday afternoon, social workers confirmed to Khaleej Times.
SV Reddy, convenor of the Telangana Gulf NRI Cell, verified the tragic news, stating, "The deceased was around 42 years old. We don’t know the cause of his death yet."
Recent Move to Dubai
Social workers noted that Selagamasetty had recently relocated to Dubai and had established multiple businesses in the city. "After moving to Dubai, he started a few businesses and ventured into real estate. He was living with his daughter here," Reddy added.
Links to Tollywood
Selagamasetty was known for his connections in the Telugu film industry. "He has directed a few Telugu movies and was a very close friend of Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun and other actors," said Reddy.
Authorities have not yet disclosed further details regarding the cause of death. Investigations are currently underway.
