Sharjah : Sharjah Airport has welcomed Fly Cham, the Syrian airline, as part of its network. The carrier began operations on Thursday with flights from Damascus and Aleppo.
Fly Cham will operate five weekly flights from Damascus and two weekly flights from Aleppo to Sharjah, using Airbus A320 aircraft. The new routes aim to provide more travel options and improve connectivity between Syria and the UAE.
The first flight was received in the presence of senior officials from the Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) and Fly Cham. Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of SAA, said the addition highlights the airport’s role as a growing hub in the region.
Captain Moussa Boutros, CEO of Fly Cham, said the partnership reflects the airline’s strategy to expand and provide safe, reliable, and affordable travel services.
Sharjah Airport continues to expand its route network by welcoming new airlines and offering improved facilities for international travellers.
