Major UAE airlines have begun limited flight operations from the evening of March 2 as airspace restrictions across the region continue to affect schedules.

Carriers including Emirates, Etihad Airways and flydubai confirmed a gradual resumption of services following three days of widespread disruptions linked to escalating regional tensions.

Passengers have been strongly advised to contact their airlines and confirm departure times before heading to the airport.

Emirates

Emirates said it will operate a limited number of flights starting Monday evening. The airline stated that priority will be given to passengers with earlier bookings.

Customers who have been rebooked will be contacted directly. Emirates urged travellers not to go to the airport unless they receive confirmed flight details.

Etihad Airways

Etihad confirmed that some limited operations have resumed from Abu Dhabi. However, regular scheduled commercial services remain cancelled.

The airline said repositioning, cargo and repatriation flights may operate in coordination with UAE authorities and subject to strict safety approvals.

flydubai

flydubai announced it will operate a limited number of flights from the evening of March 2.

Passengers are advised to update their contact details through the airline’s booking system and check flight status before travelling to the airport.

Air Arabia

Air Arabia has suspended all flights to and from the UAE until 3 pm on March 3. Flights to Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and Iraq remain suspended until March 4.

The airline said it continues to monitor the situation closely, adding that passenger and crew safety remains its top priority.

Airport Operations

Dubai Airports confirmed that a limited number of flights will operate from Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum International (DWC) under a controlled schedule.

Sharjah International Airport has also begun limited operations in coordination with airlines and authorities.

Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) confirmed partial resumption of services as of March 2.

Ras Al Khaimah International Airport remains temporarily closed until further notice.

Airports and airlines said further updates will be shared as the situation evolves.
