Dubai, UAE – In an incredible turn of events, Abdulla Alsayed, a Saudi national, has won the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire grand prize of $1 million not once, but twice, in just four months. His second win came on January 22, 2025, when he purchased 30 tickets for Series 490 and hit the jackpot with ticket number 0376. This marks Alsayed’s second win after his first $1 million prize in September 2024.

The 68-year-old father of five, who works for a real estate company, has been a regular participant in the Dubai Duty Free draw for over 20 years. "I’m so happy for this news! Shukran Dubai Duty Free!" Alsayed said upon receiving his second win.

Joining Alsayed in the ranks of the millionaires is Paul Jozua Joubert, a 52-year-old Namibian national. Joubert, who has been participating in the Dubai Duty Free draw for the past decade, won the $1 million prize in Millennium Millionaire Series 489. His winning ticket was purchased on January 19, 2025, making him the first person from Namibia to win the prestigious prize.

Joubert, a father of two and manager of a private game reserve in Namibia, expressed his excitement and gratitude: "Thank you so much, Dubai Duty Free. I will continue to participate in your promotion in the hope of making it twice lucky."

Following the Millennium Millionaire draw, the Finest Surprise draw took place, giving away two luxury cars and a motorbike. Julian Lewis, a 73-year-old Indian national based in Dubai, was the lucky winner of a Mercedes Benz SL 43 AMG (Silicone Grey) car, which he won with ticket number 1152, purchased online on January 23, 2025. Lewis, a long-time participant in the Dubai Duty Free promotion since its inception in 1989, previously shared a win with his Lebanese colleague for a Rolls Royce in 1989.

"It’s been a long time since I shared a win with my Lebanese colleague, but this time I finally won on my own," Lewis said.

In another win, Seyedhesam Mirhejazi, a 39-year-old Iranian national based in Dubai, won a BMW 740i M Sport (Brooklyn Grey Metallic) with ticket number 0793 in the Finest Surprise Series 1909, purchased on January 26, 2025. Mirhejazi, who works for a real estate company, celebrated the win with his family, particularly since his wife had just given birth two days prior. "When I purchased this ticket, I had my son in mind, so I think he’s our lucky charm," he shared.

Finally, Swiss national Michael Konrad Steinhoefel, based in Mexico City, Mexico, won an Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory 1100 motorbike with ticket number 0652 in the Finest Surprise Series 612, purchased online on January 24, 2025. Steinhoefel, a risk manager at a bank, is no stranger to winning; he previously won a Mercedes Benz S500 in February 2024. "I appreciate Dubai Duty Free for continuing to run this amazing promotion; it’s indeed a great opportunity," Steinhoefel said.

The Dubai Duty Free draws continue to captivate participants worldwide, with life-changing prizes in every draw.
