Could you briefly tell us about your background and how it led you to start your business?

Diana Richardson is a university-educated entrepreneur and seasoned business owner with over 25 years of experience in the beauty, wellbeing, and skincare industry. A multiple award winner recognized for her depth of knowledge, customer service, and team leadership, Diana has earned international acclaim for her impact.

She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Signature D Ltd and Glowgetter Beauty Entrepreneurs Ltd, ventures through which she has transformed not only business outcomes but also lives. Recognized as the “Most Influential Beauty & Business Mentor of the Year 2025” by the CToday Awards and honored by Women of Heart, Diana is committed to helping women and executives break barriers and redefine success.

Her entrepreneurial journey goes far beyond traditional beauty services. Diana is a three-time PHAB Service Star recipient, and as the founder of 10 companies that she has successfully started, scaled, and sold, she continues to empower the next generation of leaders. She shares her wisdom through the Glowgetter Beauty Entrepreneurs Podcast, now with over 125 episodes, as well as her bestselling book Glowgetters Guide to Running a Blooming Business. Through her international coaching, mentoring, and CPD programs, she is setting new standards in business education for beauty professionals.

Academically, Diana holds a distinguished portfolio, she is an alumna of Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, a Harvard Business School graduate, and a distinction holder from Harvard Medical School’s Lifestyle Medicine Coaching Program. She also holds qualifications in teaching from Greenwich University and studied Communications at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. With this strong foundation in both business and education, Diana’s influence continues to expand globally.

She has been recognized in over 100 publications and has even been nominated for an honorary doctorate for her contributions to the industry. What does your business focus on, and how is it positioned in the market?

Signature D Ltd was launched after Diana identified a major gap in the industry, the disconnect between technical training and business education. Drawing on over 15 years of mentoring experience, she created a platform offering bespoke courses, business coaching, and dynamic challenges tailored to both budding entrepreneurs and seasoned executives.

Her efforts took on even greater urgency during the pandemic. Diana worked alongside the UK government’s Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to co-develop the Working Safely Guidance for Close Contact Services, benefiting hair and beauty professionals nationwide. She also helped local businesses and salons design effective Bounce Back strategies to navigate post-pandemic recovery.

This momentum led to the evolution of The Glowgetter Beauty Entrepreneurs brand into what is now known as The Glowgetter Mentor. This new chapter features a podcast that has aired more than 125 episodes and catapulted Diana onto global stages as a keynote speaker. With over 100 blog posts and the success of her first book, Diana is preparing to publish The Glowgetters 21 Day Challenge while co-authoring four additional titles with the London Organisation of Skills Development.

Recent years have marked a pivotal transition in Diana’s journey, focused on deepening the foundations of The Glowgetter Mentor. The podcast’s continued success, accompanied by 150 five-star reviews, reflects a loyal and growing audience eager for her insights and mentorship. Her second book is set to launch soon, and her expanding global community continues to benefit from her expertise in entrepreneurial education. Every milestone reinforces Diana’s purpose: to empower, educate, and elevate beauty entrepreneurs around the world.

How has this year impacted your business, and what are your goals moving forward?

This year has brought Diana powerful opportunities for growth and service. In April, she traveled to India as a Global Delegate for the inaugural Global Education & Entrepreneurs Festival, an experience she describes as transformational on many levels. That journey became a catalyst for deeper engagement in philanthropy.

One significant outcome of the trip was her appointment as Chief Philanthropy Officer for Mahila Udyami, a global movement supporting rural women through education and entrepreneurship. For Diana, this role aligns perfectly with her mission to uplift others by sharing knowledge, building confidence, and enabling sustainable success.

What advice would you give to startups or entrepreneurs in your industry?

Diana’s advice for those just starting out is simple yet profound: “Today is the first day of the rest of your life, just start. It’s never too late.” For those already on their entrepreneurial journey, she offers a gentle reminder: “Always remember your why.” Staying rooted in purpose helps navigate the ups and downs of business with clarity and conviction.
