In a significant boost to the UAE’s logistics landscape, Dubai South officially inaugurated the new regional headquarters of JAS Middle East, marking a pivotal moment in the expansion of global logistics firm JAS Worldwide across the region.

The state-of-the-art facility, strategically located in the Logistics District of Dubai South, is designed to cater not just to the UAE but the broader Middle East market, offering advanced warehousing solutions with a strong focus on sustainability and operational efficiency.

A Strategic Launch in a Global Trade Hub

The inauguration ceremony was attended by dignitaries and industry leaders, including Edoardo Napoli, Consul-General of Italy in Dubai; Biagio Bruni, Founder and Chairman of JAS Worldwide; Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South; and Erwin Wittemaier, Area Vice President of JAS Middle East, among other senior officials.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ahmad said:

“We are pleased to attend the official opening of JAS Middle East’s new headquarters at Dubai South. This new facility will cater to the UAE and the wider Middle East region through best-in-class logistics solutions."

"With its cutting-edge design and ESG-compliant infrastructure, this facility enhances Dubai South’s role in shaping the future of aviation and logistics in the region,” he added.

Facility Highlights: Innovation Meets Sustainability

Spanning over 19,170 square metres, the 'Build-to-Suit' warehouse is tailored to meet specific operational requirements and reflects JAS’s long-term investment in the region. Key features of the facility include:

  • Racked and bulk storage capacity

  • Three temperature-controlled chambers for handling sensitive cargo

  • Twelve loading bays equipped with dock levellers and roller shutter doors

  • Structure rising to over 14 metres at its apex, compliant with the latest fire safety standards

Further reinforcing its commitment to environmental goals, solar panels will be installed on the facility’s roof to offset utility costs and contribute to the site’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance.

The two-floor office space will serve as JAS Middle East’s regional command center, enabling greater agility and responsiveness in customer service across markets.

A Vision of Sustainable Growth

For JAS Worldwide, the new regional base symbolizes more than physical expansion—it reflects a strategic focus on sustainable growth, innovation, and service excellence.

“This facility is a testament to our focus on innovation, sustainability, and excellent service,” said Biagio Bruni, Founder and Chairman of JAS Worldwide.
“We are proud to strengthen our presence in this dynamic region and look forward to continuing to support our customers with tailored and innovative logistics solutions.”

JAS Middle East is one of the fastest-growing arms of JAS Worldwide, and the new Dubai South facility positions the company to meet growing demand from sectors such as retail, healthcare, technology, automotive, and industrial manufacturing.

Dubai South: A Logistics Powerhouse in the Making

Dubai South has rapidly evolved into a premier logistics and aviation hub, benefitting from its proximity to Al Maktoum International Airport and integrated transport links. The development of such advanced infrastructure within the district aligns with Dubai's long-term economic vision of becoming a global logistics capital.

With this inauguration, Dubai South continues to attract global players, further establishing itself as a magnet for companies seeking high-performance supply chain networks in the Middle East.
