Emirates has introduced a special Arsenal-themed Airbus A380 featuring the club's star players and championship branding to celebrate Arsenal's Premier League title-winning campaign. The custom-designed aircraft showcases four first-team players, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Martin Ødegaard and Viktor Gyökeres, displayed prominently across the side of the double-decker jet. The design also features the Arsenal crest and large gold "Champions" lettering, highlighting the club's successful 2025/26 season.

First Flight to London

The newly painted Airbus A380 completed its inaugural celebratory journey to London Heathrow as Emirates flight EK001. The artwork was created and installed by Emirates Engineering, with the design extending from the aircraft's tail fin to the middle section of the fuselage.

The launch is expected to attract attention from both football supporters and aviation enthusiasts, particularly on routes connecting Dubai and London.

Celebrating Two Decades of Partnership

The special livery also marks a significant milestone in the long-standing relationship between Emirates and Arsenal. The year 2026 represents the 20th anniversary of the partnership between the Dubai-based airline and the North London football club.

Emirates continues to serve as Arsenal's official airline partner and retains naming rights for the club's home venue, Emirates Stadium. The airline's "Fly Better" branding also appears on the kits worn by Arsenal's men's, women's and academy teams.

Growing Sports Branding Strategy

The Arsenal aircraft joins a portfolio of special Emirates liveries dedicated to major sporting events, football clubs and international competitions. Such initiatives have become an increasingly popular way for global airlines to connect with sports fans and strengthen brand visibility worldwide.

Arsenal's Historic Season

Under manager Mikel Arteta, Arsenal secured the Premier League title during the 2025/26 campaign, ending a league title drought that stretched back to 2004. The triumph marked the club's 14th English league championship and represented one of the most significant achievements of Arteta's tenure.

The commemorative A380 is expected to operate on selected Emirates routes in the coming weeks, offering supporters a unique flying tribute to Arsenal's championship-winning season.
