Dubai – The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), in partnership with Dubai Police, has launched a new Digital Security Screener Licensing System aimed at enhancing airport security and aligning with international aviation standards.
The initiative introduces advanced digital processes to certify security screeners at Dubai airports. Officials highlighted that the system strengthens compliance, improves efficiency, and reinforces Dubai’s position as a leading global aviation hub.
At the launch ceremony, senior officials including Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of the DCAA, and Major General Harib Al Shamsi, Acting Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, underlined the importance of the project in supporting the emirate’s aviation growth and sustainability.
Lengawi described the move as a milestone in strengthening Dubai’s aviation security ecosystem. “The system integrates smart technologies to boost efficiency, sustainability, and international confidence,” he said.
Major General Al Shamsi added that innovation remains key to maintaining Dubai’s global aviation standing. “With our partners, we are committed to advancing technical capabilities and global best practices to ensure readiness,” he noted.
The initiative also supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, showcasing Dubai’s commitment to smart governance, security innovation, and operational excellence in aviation.
