The Dubai Airshow 2025 is officially open for registration, with the 19th edition scheduled to take place from 17 to 21 November at Dubai World Central. Organizers promise a transformative event aimed at pushing the boundaries of global aviation and defence innovation, while also spotlighting the UAE's rapidly expanding role in the aerospace industry.

The event, one of the largest of its kind globally, will bring together thought leaders, policymakers, industry giants, and innovators for five days of networking, strategic dialogue, and immersive experiences. With its theme centered on connectivity, technology, and sustainability, the 2025 show aims to cement the UAE’s leadership in next-generation aviation.

A Strategic Industry Platform

The show arrives at a critical time for global aviation. According to IATA, the aviation sector contributes approximately $92 billion, or 18.2% of GDP, to the UAE economy. Meanwhile, the Middle East’s commercial aircraft fleet is projected to grow by 5.1% annually over the next decade.

"This Airshow offers an unmatched platform to advance the UAE’s vision for defence, civil aviation, and innovation," said Major General Dr. Mubarak Saeed bin Ghafan Al Jabri, Executive Director of the Military Committee overseeing the event.

New Features in 2025

The 2025 edition will include groundbreaking initiatives, including:

  • Runway Networking at SkyDive Dubai: A first-of-its-kind event blending informal networking with live entertainment, skydiving displays, drone shows, and premium hospitality.

  • Night-Time Programming: For the first time, the show will feature extended hours on its second day, with displays, receptions, and drone performances continuing into the night until 21:00.

  • VISTA Innovation Hub: A dedicated start-up zone for aviation and space tech entrepreneurs.

  • NextGen Leaders & Academy: Educational initiatives to nurture emerging talent across the aerospace sector.

Global Delegation and Executive Access

Aerospace decision-makers will benefit from curated networking at the Aerospace Executive Club, while the show will host one of the most comprehensive delegation programmes in the industry, co-hosted by the UAE Ministry of DefenceDubai Civil Aviation Authority, and the Government of Dubai.

The show’s AI-powered matchmaking system, built into the official event app, will streamline business engagement, helping participants connect with potential collaborators and clients in real time.

A Focus on Sustainability and Future Growth

In response to the global climate imperative, Dubai Airshow 2025 will place strong emphasis on sustainable aviation, green technologies, and emissions-reduction strategies. Panels and exhibits will showcase innovations in fuel efficiency, electrification, and eco-conscious manufacturing.

Timothy Hawes, Managing Director of Informa Markets, stated, “This edition of Dubai Airshow will be the most comprehensive and future-focused in the event’s history. It’s designed to accelerate innovation, deepen partnerships, and inspire the next generation of aerospace leaders.”

Public Experience at Skyview

While the Airshow is largely a business event, the Skyview platform will offer the public an opportunity to witness the excitement. Open across all five days, Skyview is expected to welcome over 15,000 visitors, offering access to live flying displaysinteractive attractions, and family-friendly entertainment, a rare chance for aviation enthusiasts to experience the thrill up close.
