A dazzling new world record has been set at the 55th edition of the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, with the unveiling of the world’s largest gold frame, crafted entirely from 21-karat pure gold. The monumental creation, titled ‘Union Frame’, is a tribute to the UAE’s national identity and has officially entered the Guinness World Records.
The gold frame, revealed by Golden Arabia Jewellery, serves as a powerful artistic statement under the theme ‘Art that Tells the Story of a Nation.’ Adorned with intricate depictions of iconic landmarks from all seven emirates, it reflects both the heritage and architectural splendor of the UAE.
Among the frame’s highlighted features are Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Sharjah’s Quran Roundabout, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, and historical sites including Ras Al Khaimah’s Dhayah Fort, Fujairah Fort, Ajman Museum, and Umm Al Quwain’s Fort.
“This is more than just a gold structure, it’s a symbolic representation of our unity and evolution as a nation,” said the creators behind the masterpiece.
Held at Expo Centre Sharjah, the exhibition is backed by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and remains one of the region’s premier luxury showcases. Alongside the ‘Union Frame’, the show features exclusive collections of premium gold, luxury watches, and designer jewellery from around the world.
Open daily from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM over the weekend, the event continues to draw thousands of visitors seeking artistry, opulence, and regional pride, all under one roof.
