Ramadan 2025 in Dubai: Malls Extend Hours, Fireworks, and Cultural Festivities Announced

With the holy month of Ramadan beginning on March 1, malls across Dubai will extend their operating hours late into the night, ensuring visitors can enjoy exclusive shopping deals, cultural events, and festive experiences. Organized by Brand Dubai, the creative division of the Government of Dubai Media Office (GDMO), in collaboration with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the initiative aims to enhance the spirit of community and togetherness throughout Ramadan.

Key Ramadan Attractions and Events

Dubai’s Ramadan celebrations will feature:

  • Extended mall hours with special offers across major shopping destinations
  • Weekend fireworks shows at top locations
  • Immersive cultural performances and live entertainment
  • Traditional outdoor markets and food festivals
  • Exciting shopping promotions with weekly prize draws

Fireworks and Light Shows

Dubai will host spectacular firework displays every Saturday:

  • March 1 & 8 – Al Seef
  • March 15 – Dubai Festival City Mall
  • March 22 – Bluewaters Island and The Beach, JBR

The Ramadan Reflections light and sound show will return at Al Seef and Dubai Festival City Mall, providing mesmerizing visual experiences.

Dubai’s Ramadan markets will bring a vibrant mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment:

‘Ramadan at the Park’ – Zabeel Park Amphitheatre (March 6 – 23)

  • Daily Timings: 5 PM – 12 AM (Mon–Thu), until 1 AM (Fri–Sun)
  • Activities:
    • Iftar & Suhoor experiences with live food stations
    • Ramadan cannon by Dubai Police
    • Artisan market with handcrafted goods
    • Cultural storytelling, calligraphy, and live performances
    • Family-friendly entertainment, carnival games, and sports activities

Hai Ramadan at Expo City Dubai (Until March 27)

  • Immersive cultural activities, camel rides, and live entertainment
  • Special Ramadan dining under the Al Wasl Plaza dome
  • Entry: Dh35, redeemable as vouchers for market spending

Ramadan Wonders at Global Village

Ramadan Street Food Festival – Sheikh Hamdan Colony, Karama (March 6 – 23)

  • Open daily until 2 AM
