In an era where entertainment is evolving faster than ever, few entrepreneurs are brave enough to blend cinema with cutting-edge blockchain technology. Hira Bulani, the visionary founder of MovieDOM, is not only doing that, but redefining how fans engage with films, music, and multiplexes across India and beyond. With a pioneering mindset and relentless drive, he is turning an ambitious idea into a tangible movement, one token at a time.
At the heart of Hira’s mission is a glaring gap in India’s entertainment infrastructure: a nation of movie lovers with one of the lowest screen-to-population ratios in the world. Rather than accept the status quo, he identified this underserved market and launched a bold plan to build 400 mini multiplexes, beginning with four flagship sites in Siliguri, Salem, Jalalabad, and Vasind.
But the innovation doesn’t stop there. With the launch of the MovieDOM Token ($MDOM), Hira has taken the entertainment industry into the world of decentralized finance. From fractional ownership in cinema projects to revenue-generating tokenized music and real-world asset integration, MovieDOM is giving fans more than just a front-row seat, it’s giving them a stake in the show.
This exclusive feature explores how Hira Bulani is combining real-world strategy with Web3 technology to democratize entertainment, empower creators, and invite everyday audiences to become investors, stakeholders, and decision-makers. Through MovieDOM, he’s not just producing films, he’s producing an entirely new way of experiencing entertainment.

MDOM & Real-World Assets
5 wild facts about MDOM's take on RWA (real world assets) – this ain’t just some crypto buzzword, it’s full-on blockbuster material
-
Yes, you can literally own part of a movie
No cap, MDOM tokenizes movie revenues, meaning fans can invest in film production and get real yield from ticket sales, streaming, or even popcorn sales (ok, maybe not popcorn… yet)
-
RWA = royalties with attitude
Musicians drop tracks as tokenized assets, fans grab a slice, and boom, you’re earning a share of Spotify streams. It’s like turning your playlist into passive income
-
Mini multiplexes powered by your votes and wallet
Yep, MDOM will launch decentralized cinemas where token holders vote on which films to show and share in the revenue. This is Web3 Netflix meets your local indie theater
-
Tokenized assets that actually do something
We’re not just talking about collectibles here. MDOM tokenizes real entertainment rights, think film rights, concert tickets, or % of revenue from a show. They’re tradable and revenue-generating
-
Stake your tokens, earn from the real world
No ponzinomics, MDOM stakers get a piece of the action from movies, music, events and more. Real yield, not just token emissions
So next time someone says “RWA is the future,” just smile and say, "I own it already."
Market Focus
What does your business focus on, and how is it positioned in the market?
India is underserved and deprived of entertainment in the form of screens which can stream movies first day first show with A-city releases. Vis-à-vis the US which has 120 screens per million people or China which has 59, India just has 11 screens per million, in spite of the fact that we are a movie-crazy nation.
Saw the gap and started surveys pan India. In 2021 we started working on this. Now this year we are coming up at Siliguri, Salem, Jalalabad, and Vasind, four twin-screen, 100-seater mini multiplexes.
We will cover about 400 in the next 4 years. These mini multiplexes cost huge investments.
We came up with tokenizing our assets so fans too can become investors with fractional ownership and become super fans.
One can invest as low as 10 dollars only. We set up a company in Dubai too as we found these gaps in many countries. To cater to them, we chose Dubai as it's equidistant to East and West. We are going public on the 10th of June as pre-sale starts on the Pink Sale ecosystem, followed by a token generation event on the 13th of July on leading exchanges of the world. Moviedom is a real-life company, not virtual. Its founder & CEO Hira Bulani has given personal KYC, which can be shared with Interpol too if Moviedom falters in any way. Moviedom is audited by the world's leading audit company Hacken and also acquired an EEA certificate.
Growth Plans
What are your plans for growth or expansion in the near future?
Target first is India for the first three years and 400 screens. Then we planned to go pan-world. The surveys of these countries are already on. By five years, it will be about 1000 screens.
Moviedom also will announce a Hollywood movie by the end of this year and a Bollywood movie too.
Moviedom released songs of an English movie My Melbourne which had the first Hindi song sung by Afghanistan's sensational singer Aryana Sayeed on their music channel. Also, a beautiful song Someday, an ode to mothers, sung by pop sensation Lina Fouro.
Impact & Progress
How has this year impacted your business, and what are your goals moving forward?
It has been very good as we finalized 4 mini multiplexes, production of movies, music, mega events too.
Advice to Entrepreneurs
What advice would you give to startups or entrepreneurs in your industry?
Only one thing: do your analysis, find problems, give solutions, do your hard work with perseverance and patience. Success is guaranteed.
