JK Cement UAE has officially launched its JK Profix Construction Chemicals division, marking a major step in the company’s expansion beyond traditional cement and building materials in the UAE

The launch was celebrated at a special event in Dubai following the start of full in-house production at JK DryChem Industries, the company’s new manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ). The move strengthens JK Cement’s local manufacturing capabilities while creating a platform for wider regional expansion.

New Manufacturing Facility in Ras Al Khaimah

Located in the Al Ghail Industrial Zone, the JK DryChem facility spans around 5,000 square metres.

The plant has been established to manufacture a range of construction chemical products, including liquid admixtures, prepared additives, dry-mix materials and coatings. Local production is expected to bring JK Cement closer to customers while improving supply capabilities across the UAE and wider GCC market.

JK Cement Group Managing Director Dr. Raghavpat Singhania described the facility as an important milestone in strengthening the company's UAE presence and supporting the growth of its construction chemicals business.

Expanding the JK Profix Portfolio

The JK Profix division is designed to provide specialized solutions for a wide range of construction requirements, going beyond conventional cement products.

Its portfolio includes solutions for areas such as waterproofing, surface treatment, bonding and refurbishment, with products developed for different construction and infrastructure applications.

The company has previously introduced JK Profix products to UAE customers through industry events involving developers, consultants, contractors and other construction professionals. The new facility now gives the business a stronger local manufacturing base to support the division's growth.

UAE Manufacturing at the Centre of Growth Strategy

For JK Cement, the launch reflects a broader strategy of product diversification and localized manufacturing.

The company has been expanding its presence in the UAE since entering the market with white cement and later adding dry-mix products. Construction chemicals are now becoming an important part of its efforts to offer a broader range of solutions to the building industry.

The company has also indicated plans to use the UAE as a base for expanding construction chemical exports to markets across the GCC, Africa and Southeast Asia, positioning the new operation as more than a domestic manufacturing project.

Supporting the Region’s Construction Sector

The launch comes as construction and infrastructure activity continues to create demand for higher-performance building materials across the Gulf.

By manufacturing products locally, JK Cement aims to improve product availability and respond more efficiently to project requirements. The company says its construction chemical solutions are focused on performance, durability and sustainability for modern building applications.

For Ras Al Khaimah, the investment also adds another advanced manufacturing operation to the emirate's growing industrial base and supports the development of regional supply chains.

Building a Larger Regional Business

The launch of JK Profix represents a significant shift in JK Cement UAE's business strategy, with the company positioning itself as a broader construction solutions provider rather than simply a cement supplier.

With its new manufacturing facility operational, JK Cement can now build on its UAE presence, expand the JK Profix product portfolio and target new markets from the Emirates.

As the company moves ahead with its regional plans, the JK Profix division is expected to play an increasingly important role in JK Cement's growth across the Middle East and other international markets.
