Manu Mohanan, an Indian expatriate based in Bahrain, has become the latest millionaire, winning a staggering Dh30 million in the Big Ticket Draw Series 270. This grand prize is the biggest awarded by the lottery operator this year, making headlines across the UAE.

The Winning Moment

Mohanan, holding ticket number 535948, won the jackpot on a free ticket he received through Big Ticket’s promotional offer, where buyers get one ticket free with the purchase of two. The draw took place on Friday evening at 7:30 PM, with hosts Richard and last month’s winner, Indian expat Aravind Appukuttan, revealing the lucky winner.

Dream Car Winner

As part of the Dream Car Draw, Pakistani expatriate Shakirullah Khan secured a Maserati Ghibli, holding ticket number 031944 from Series 13.

Big Ticket: A Lifeline for Many

The Big Ticket raffle, a fixture in the UAE for over three decades, continues to attract hopeful participants looking for a chance to change their lives. Last month’s Dh25 million winner, Aravind Appukuttan, shared how he and 19 others pooled resources to purchase tickets. The winnings have been life-changing, helping to settle debts and fund weddings.

Aravind also revealed he had purchased another ticket for this month’s draw, showing the ongoing enthusiasm for the Big Ticket among UAE residents.

A Community of Dreamers

The Big Ticket raffle has become more than just a lottery; it represents hope and a new beginning for countless expats in the UAE. For some, it’s an opportunity to secure a brighter future, while for others, it’s a shared dream among friends and family.

With its legacy of transforming lives, the Big Ticket remains a beacon of possibility for UAE residents, drawing participants from diverse backgrounds to try their luck.
