Dubai, UAE – Huawei has officially introduced the Pura 80 Series in the UAE, with pre-orders opening on July 23, starting at AED 3,999. The flagship smartphone line focuses on delivering industry-leading photography, alongside sleek new design features and upgraded durability.

Buyers who pre-order will receive exclusive perks, including Huawei Care+ and a Huawei Watch GT 5, with total gifts valued at AED 1,948.

The standout in the series is the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra, which features a 1-inch Ultra Large Sensor for its main camera and a variable aperture of F1.6 to F4.0, designed for enhanced low-light imaging. The device also debuts a Switchable Dual Telephoto Camera, combining 3.7x and 9.4x telephoto capabilities through a shared sensor—an industry-first that improves clarity and performance in zoom photography.

Huawei claims the new telephoto system rivals the main cameras found on other premium phones.

In addition to advanced optics, the Pura 80 Ultra delivers a dynamic range of 16 EV, matching or surpassing some cinema-grade cameras for video clarity and depth.

Design and Durability

The Pura 80 Ultra introduces a bold "forward symbol" camera layout accented by gold trims and Huawei’s XMAGE branding. Meanwhile, the Pura 80 Pro features a silk-textured frame and monochrome glaze, and the standard Pura 80 comes with a frosted glass back and flat-edge display.

All models benefit from enhanced protection with Kunlun Glass 2nd Generation, said to offer 20x better drop resistance.

The Pura 80 Series, unveiled at a recent Dubai showcase, is now positioned as one of the most photography-focused Android flagships on the market, ready to rival premium competitors in both style and substance.
