Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline flynas has announced the launch of two weekly direct flights between Jeddah and Damascus, starting June 12, 2025.
The new service follows the airline’s earlier announcement of direct flights from Riyadh to Damascus, which will begin on June 5. These routes are part of flynas’ expansion plan to improve travel connections between Saudi Arabia and Syria.
The airline said the new routes aim to meet growing demand and improve regional connectivity.
IPO Gains Momentum
The launch of these new flights comes as flynas moves ahead with its initial public offering (IPO). The airline recently opened its IPO for retail investors after receiving strong interest from institutions.
The institutional tranche attracted SAR 409 billion ($109 billion) in demand, making it nearly 100 times oversubscribed. flynas has set the IPO price at SAR 80 per share, which values the company at about SAR 13.7 billion ($3.6 billion).
