Brazil-based Eve Air Mobility, a subsidiary of Embraer, has secured a landmark order for 50 electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOLs) from São Paulo’s Revo, in a $250 million deal signed during the 2025 Paris Air Show.
The agreement marks Eve’s first commercial sale globally and establishes Revo, part of Omni Helicopters International (OHI), as the first eVTOL operator in São Paulo, one of the world's busiest urban aerial mobility hubs.
Revo plans to integrate Eve’s aircraft into its door-to-door mobility network, which combines scheduled helicopter flights, ground transport, and baggage handling. São Paulo already supports more than 2,200 daily flights with a fleet of over 400 helicopters and 260 helipads.
The new fleet will support key city routes, including the 10-minute air corridor between downtown’s Brigadeiro Faria Lima and Guarulhos International Airport, known to take up to three hours by car.
Revo will also adopt Eve’s TechCare software suite for fleet maintenance and operations and has already trialed Eve’s “Vector” urban air traffic management platform in joint simulations.
“This agreement represents a critical milestone for Eve,” said Johann Bordais, CEO of Eve. “It reinforces confidence in our eVTOL platform as we move from development to commercialization.”
Deliveries are expected to begin in late 2027, pending certification, with flight testing underway in Brazil.
Eve now holds sales agreements for nearly 3,000 eVTOLs across 30 operators in 12 countries, reinforcing its position in the fast-growing urban air mobility market.
