Dubai — Dubai Duty Free (DDF) has achieved Dh638.8 million ($175 million) in sales for July 2025, setting a new growth milestone as the ninth-highest monthly figure in the retailer’s 41-year history. The figure marks a 9.7% increase over July 2024 and contributes to Dh4.73 billion ($1.3 billion) in year-to-date sales—up 5.86% from the same period last year.
Despite only a modest 2.3% increase in passenger traffic at Dubai International Airport, DDF’s performance was bolstered by strong demand in top-selling categories including perfumes, gold, confectionery, and luxury watches.
The retailer’s high-end fashion boutiques, featuring brands such as Chanel and Louis Vuitton, grew 11.36% year-on-year. Meanwhile, REKLAIM, DDF’s pre-owned luxury concept, generated Dh1.6 million in sales during the month, led by sustained demand for Rolex watches.
“Five of our months this year have already broken previous records. This is a strong indicator of our retail strength and customer loyalty,” said Ramesh Cidambi, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free.
Dubai Duty Free continues to lead the global airport retail sector with a strategic focus on premium products, digital payment solutions, and customer experience innovation.
