Abu Dhabi has expanded its global presence in PropTech and real estate transparency after taking part in the International MLS Forum 2025 held in Toronto, Canada.
The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) and Advanced Real Estate Services (ADRES) represented the UAE at the event, which brought together more than 130 organisations from 20 countries. The discussions focused on real estate data standards, technology and global cooperation.
A major announcement confirmed that Abu Dhabi will host the next International MLS Forum in November 2026, marking the first time the gathering will be held in the Middle East. The event will be organised by the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) and hosted by ADREC in partnership with ADRES.
Data exchange agreements signed
During the forum, ADRES signed a Global Data Exchange (GDX) Agreement with several major Multiple Listing Services, including Stellar MLS, TRREB, SNPI and San Diego MLS.
The agreement launches a pilot project to exchange verified property data securely across borders using RESO standards. The initiative aims to improve transparency, support global investment and align real estate markets through shared data formats.
Sultan Al Memari, Acting Executive Director of Real Estate Regulation at ADREC, said Abu Dhabi continues to build its reputation for clear governance and digital transformation.
Madhmoun MLS gains global recognition
The UAE also highlighted Madhmoun, the region’s first RESO-certified MLS platform. Developed by ADREC and supported by ADRES, Madhmoun has earned the RESO Data Dictionary 2.0 and Web API 2.0.0 certifications, placing it in line with international benchmarks for real estate data systems.
Moath Maqbol, General Manager of ADRES, said the certification and new data exchange agreements reflect the UAE’s goal of creating a more connected and transparent real estate market.
ThinkProp honoured
ThinkProp, ADRES’s real estate training institute, received the Excellence in Mentorship Award at the forum for its role in professional development.
Jasem Al Hosani, CEO of ThinkProp, said the recognition shows the UAE’s focus on building strong talent for the future of the industry.
