Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Women of Heart Awards (WOHA) Dubai 2025, held on June 29 at the iconic Dusit Thani Hotel, brought together global visionaries, changemakers, and leaders from across the world for an unforgettable evening celebrating female excellence.

Founded by Dr. Desziree Richardson, WOHA is a prestigious global platform dedicated to honouring women whose work reflects compassion, purpose, and a commitment to building a better world. This year’s ceremony followed the powerful theme: "Empowering The World Together", a call to unity, transformation, and inclusive leadership.

Trailblazing women from diverse sectors, including innovation, leadership, business, education, health, media, philanthropy, arts, and humanitarianism, were recognized for their remarkable impact and contributions to society. Each honouree was carefully selected through a rigorous evaluation process that assessed not just achievements, but lasting influence.

Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Salama Tahnoon Al Nahyan, the evening welcomed esteemed guests including Her Excellency Laila Rahhal El Atfani, Dr. Kabir V, and Her Royal Majesty, Queen Vickylextar (Omanye Royal Kingdom), among other notable international attendees.

The celebration was hosted by Krystle K, an international award-winning emcee, whose presence, professionalism, and eloquence captivated the room and transformed the evening into a true class act. As emcee, she brought depth, grace, and gravitas, weaving meaning and connection into every moment on stage.

The program featured impactful speeches and moving stories from the award recipients, underscoring their achievements and the breadth of their influence locally, regionally, and internationally. Among the highlights was the announcement of upcoming initiatives, including FACE of WOHA Middle East, where Her Excellency Laila Rahhal El Atfani received the distinguished Crown Honour.

Dr. Richardson also introduced the Gentlemen of Heart Awards (GOHA), recognising male leaders who champion inclusive leadership and shared responsibility in shaping a better future for all.

The atmosphere throughout the evening was one of joy, solidarity, and empowerment, a heartfelt celebration of purpose-driven leadership and global sisterhood. As the room buzzed with smiles and encouragement, one message rang clear: when women come together in unity and purpose, they become an unstoppable force for good.
