Could you briefly tell us about your background and how it led you to start your business?

My professional journey began with a clear ambition: to grow, lead, and make a lasting impact in the business world. After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Finance, followed by a Master’s in Industrial Management from the University of Central Missouri in the United States, I returned to Saudi Arabia equipped with a global perspective and a deep passion for business.

I started my career in retail at Azizia Panda as a Buyer, where I gained hands-on experience in product planning, vendor negotiations, and market analysis. This experience sparked my interest in the fast-moving world of sales and distribution.

Over the years, I held various national leadership roles at major companies like Rabea Tea (Baeshen), Halwani Brothers, Coffee Moments, Barn’s, and now Alkhair Trading Co. Each role challenged me to think bigger, lead stronger teams, and design strategic plans that drive measurable results across channels, Modern Trade, General Trade, HORECA, Vending, and E-Commerce.

What has defined my journey is not just the titles I’ve held, but the transformation I’ve led, digitizing operations, scaling revenue, building loyal customer bases, and fostering a performance-driven culture. I believe leadership is not about authority; it’s about inspiring teams, adapting to market dynamics, and learning continuously.

Today, as Head of Sales at Alkhair Trading Co., I continue to strive for growth, not just for the company, but for the people I work with and the customers we serve.

My journey is still unfolding, and I look forward to what lies ahead.

What does your business focus on, and how is it positioned in the market?

Sales leadership, business development, and strategic growth across multiple distribution channels including:
• HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes)
• B2B (Business-to-Business)
• Modern Trade (Supermarkets, Hypermarkets)
• General Trade (Traditional Retail Outlets)
• E-Commerce
• Vending Machines
• Food Service and Travel Retail

I have built deep expertise in managing FMCG and F&B products, with specific emphasis on frozen, processed, and fresh food items. I have worked with manufacturers and distributors, which gives me a full view of both production and market dynamics.

Plans for Expansion

What are your plans for growth or expansion in the near future?

My goal is to position Alkhair Trading Co. as a leading multi-channel food distribution brand in Saudi Arabia. To achieve this, I am focusing on aligning operational excellence with smart digital innovation. I believe the future of food distribution lies in agility, integrated systems, and real-time decision-making, therefore, I aim to introduce technology-driven processes that enhance both efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Additionally, fostering strong B2B partnerships remains a top priority. Strategic collaborations with suppliers, distributors, and service partners will play a vital role in expanding our reach across the Kingdom. The focus is not only on growing our market presence but also on delivering consistent value to clients through tailored solutions, premium quality products, and responsive customer service. Every move we make is built around creating growth that is scalable, sustainable, and firmly rooted in customer needs.

This year has been pivotal for our operations, it has helped us reinforce our foundation and provided clarity on where we are headed as a company. The business landscape continues to evolve rapidly, and we’ve taken that as an opportunity to strengthen our internal systems, improve supply chain efficiency, and deepen our understanding of market behavior.

Moving forward, my goals are centered around three key pillars: innovation, operational discipline, and meaningful partnerships. Innovation will drive how we adapt to shifting consumer expectations and new industry trends. Operational discipline ensures that every part of the value chain, procurement, logistics, sales, and support, is aligned for optimal performance. Lastly, by continuing to build and nurture strong partnerships, we aim to reinforce our credibility in the market and maintain a leadership position in the food distribution sector.

What advice would you give to startups or entrepreneurs in your industry?

Dream big, because the market demands visionaries who can anticipate change, challenge norms, and build something meaningful. Whether you’re launching a product, entering a new segment, or creating a brand, you need to believe in your ideas and back them with relentless determination.

Equally important is understanding that there is no substitute for hard work. The food and FMCG industry is highly competitive and requires resilience, focus, and continuous learning.
