Dubai, UAE: In an exciting development for shoppers and visitors, Dubai Mall, the world’s second-largest shopping destination, is set to open a brand-new section at the start of Ramadan. The holy month, expected to begin on March 1, 2025, will mark the launch of 65 new retail and dining outlets within the mall.

The announcement was made by Mohamed Alabbarfounder of Emaar Properties, who took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share the news. He confirmed that the expansion will feature a mix of exclusive brands and food & beverage outlets, further enhancing Dubai Mall’s status as a global shopping hub.

Part of a Massive Expansion Plan

This latest addition is part of Emaar Properties’ ambitious Dh1.5 billion expansion plan, announced in June 2024. The project aims to introduce 240 new luxury stores and dining options, reinforcing Dubai Mall’s position as a premier retail destination. Construction for the large-scale development is already underway, with contractors actively working on-site.

Dubai Mall: A Global Shopping Icon

Dubai Mall, spanning a massive 1.2 million square meters, is already home to over 1,200 stores, offering a diverse mix of luxury, fashion, electronics, and entertainment options. The mall was officially named the most visited place on Earth in 2023, welcoming a record-breaking 105 million visitors, marking a 19% increase from the previous year.
